Project/Nutrabolt HQ
Completed/
2014
Location/
Bryan/College Station, Texas
Story/
The brief described a five-acre site, with new office space, fitness facility, parking, and landscaping. The client added that their new headquarters would be an opportunity for transformation of their growing company, so they wanted more than a new office building. We were fortunate to have The Beck Group as a partner, which allowed for a design-build process, and we kicked it off with a three-day charrette. Out of that came a scheme of spaces inside, outside and in-between a cluster of different structures. Adaptable spaces that the client could program to foster the kind of collaboration and competition they wanted for their teams, and change to accommodate the growth they anticipated. The project is Leed Certified, and received an AIA Austin Design Award in 2016.
