Project/612 Brazos

About/Story/

Location/

Austin, TX

Story/

Development of a site in downtown Austin for a client for whom we have worked on a range of commercial and residential projects across Texas.  The project proposes the insertion of a fundamentally conventional but dramatically scaled masonry-clad building suspended over the site, suggested by the painting “Castle of the Pyrenees” by Belgian artist Renee Magritte. The program included a co-working and hospitality space featuring a bar on the ground floor and a rooftop outdoor space with restaurant.
