The lot was built full back in 1963, an auto body garage with fifteen-foot-high ceilings that would make for good studio space. On top of that single story we designed two residential floors, a rear yard at the second floor, a balcony on the third floor, and terrace on the roof. A skylit vertical circulation shaft connects it all, bringing light to the center of the building.
